About route
The nature trail is a little over 300 m long and takes you from the village square (‘Plac’) to the Dragonc stream, or vice versa. A large variety of over 40 edible wild plants can be found along the trail, which is an astonishing number for such a short path. Three interpretive signs will help you find and identify the 30 most common wild plant representatives. Look for the plants on the left and right sides of the path; observe, smell, taste, and photograph them. Please do not pick the plants for personal use, so that they may be preserved for the enjoyment of other visitors. The purpose of the nature trail is to get to know these plants in their natural environment. Please treat dry stone walls, hedges, vineyards, orchards, and meadows along the path with respect. Silently observe and listen to the nature and cultural landscape. In September, you are welcome to join us for the opening of the nature trail.
